They are truly incredible.

I have made the most beautiful loaves of bread. They come out tall,

brown and the taste and texture is very much like regular bread. My

son who is 7 does eat regular bread as well can't tell the

difference. Because this bread is so good, we don't even bother with

regular bread anymore. I used the baking mix to make banana bread

and it was indistinguishable from the regular banana bread except

crumbled a little easier. I just substituted malathy's mix for the

flour and egg replacer for the eggs. You've got to try her mixes.

We really want to thank Malathy Ramanujam (Taste Connections) for her help. We were in Los Angeles for vacation last week and she offered to make some cookies, bread, and tortillas, for us so that we could try her products. When we went to her house to pick it up, we got to taste some wonderful foods. Mick loves the tortilla’s, cookies and chicken nuggets (we really liked all of it too, even those low-pro foods we normally don’t like from other companies). It was amazing, Malathy gave us a cooking "workshop" on how to use the products, she showed us different recipes (everything was great, but she made THE BEST "chicken nuggets"), and gave us some ideas for other foods to make. We really learned a lot. Malathy is keeping the costs low, both mixes (multi-baking mix and bread mix) are $13.50 for 5 lbs. If you compare her products to others you wonder why she isn’t asking more for them. She even told us where to buy a tortilla press for $45,00 (from a store, she isn’t making any money).

She truly wants to help others to avoid the bad experiences she has had to deal with when it comes to low-pro foods......is exploring and is sure to be a big asset to the PKU community! She is passing up some great job opportunities to start her own company in order to help others out.

We highly recommend everyone to try her products, they are amazingly priced and taste like regular food.

I don't know about making other things, but the flour tortillas I make with

the Taste Connections baking mix comes out great!!

Living in Arizona, a staple in all of our diets is Mexican food so I am

thrilled. The low protein tortillas come out soft and they are

pliable. When I use to fold the old ones they would just split in half

whereas with these tortillas you can even roll them.
